Asmahan Saleh is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over 12 years of experience in behavioral intervention. She holds a doctorate from Queen’s University Belfast, where her research focused on Autism, adolescence, and sexual health education in the Arab world. Her work has contributed to a deeper understanding of these areas within the region.
Asmahan is a founding member and current board member of the Association of Behavior Analysis in Lebanon (ABAL). She is also part of the multidisciplinary team at the ParentWise NGO, dedicated to raising awareness about common childhood concerns. She regularly conducts workshops, trainings, and webinars for parents and professionals, guiding them on the practical application of evidence-based approaches to ensure optimal outcomes.
In 2020, she co-authored the children’s book “”The Day the World Went Boom,”” which was written to help children and their caretakers navigate and process the aftermath of the big explosion that happened in Lebanon. Asmahan’s extensive experience includes working with children and adolescents with diverse behavioral support needs and diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. She has a particular interest in programs that focus on functional skills, vocational training, community integration, and sexual health education for adolescents.
