Reem Madkour is a Dubai-based entrepreneur committed to advancing early Arabic language development in children. As founder of Dardasha, she creates engaging Arabic children’s books and developmental toys that foster a deep connection to the Arabic language and cultural identity. Her work through Dardasha earned her the Visa She’s Next in Publishing Award, presented by Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi, and recognition in both national and international media.
She is also the co-founder of the Arab Child Summit, a pioneering platform bringing together hundreds of Arab experts and caregivers to support the growth of proud Arab children who thrive as global citizens. Inspired by her own childhood challenges with Arabic and identity, Reem’s mission is fueled by her two sons, Iyad and Kareem. Before founding Dardasha, she built a successful career as an engineering consultant, specializing in façade engineering and championing gender diversity in the construction sector.
