Nancy F. Merheb is a Senior Early Childhood Development Expert at the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority, where she leads the design, implementation, evaluation and scaling of three parenting support programs and provides technical guidance on child development, child protection, and family support initiatives.
Nancy is a recognized parenting and family support expert with a strong background in developing strategies, policies, and legislation related to child development, protection, and rights. Her work combines solid academic foundations in social and economic development with extensive applied experience in government, non-governmental, and international organizations across the Middle East and North Africa.
Prior to her current role, Nancy contributed to national and international efforts to advance child rights through her work at the UAE’s Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, UNICEF, and the International Labour Organization. She also served as a Child Protection Subject Matter Expert with Georgetown University and Strategy& Middle East.
She holds a Master of Research II and a Master’s degree in Social and Economic Development, as well as a B.A. in Social Sciences from the Lebanese University.
