Muna’s career in education began in Amman, Jordan, as a Grade 1 homeroom teacher, where she quickly discovered her love for working with young learners. After a few years of teaching and taking on administrative roles in both primary and secondary school, she was appointed Assistant Principal and began her journey as part of the leadership team. In 2014, she moved to Dubai and joined GEMS AKIS in 2016 as the Elementary Assistant Principal. Alongside her leadership role, she oversees the Inclusion Department and works closely with teachers, students, and families to ensure every learner is supported. She is passionate about creating inclusive, nurturing environments where all children feel a sense of belonging and are empowered to reach their potential. Muna holds a bachelor’s degree in Food Technology and Dietetics and plans to pursue a Postgraduate Certificate in Education.
