Dr. Yahia Alramamneh is an Assistant Professor of Arabic Education at the Emirates College for Advanced Education (ECAE), UAE, specializing in Arabic language pedagogy, early literacy, and the integration of generative AI in teaching and learning. His research explores parental attitudes toward reading, early literacy activities, and reading literacy in Arabic among Emirati children.
He is a co-researcher in a pioneering Abu Dhabi project that promoted father–child shared reading at home to strengthen early literacy in Arabic and English and enhance family wellbeing. The initiative provided Emirati fathers with high-quality, culturally relevant books and training in interactive reading techniques, addressing a context where home reading is not a common tradition.
Dr. Alramamneh has published widely, presented at international conferences, and led teacher training programs that integrate AI tools into planning, teaching, and assessment. He is passionate about advancing Arabic language education, fostering a culture of reading, and supporting innovative, culturally grounded approaches to learning in the Arab world.
