An Emirati counsellor and founder of Aman Lil Afia Clinic, with over 14 years of experience in counselling psychology with children, adolescents, and adults. Her areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief, OCD, family issues, marital relationships, and parenting. Dr. Hind is internationally certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and trained in Person-Centered Therapy, Compassionate Inquiry (CI), Play and Art Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She also holds training in Key Performance Indicators (KPI), reflecting her focus on clinical and operational effectiveness. Her academic background includes a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Webster University (Geneva), a Master’s in Tropical Medicine from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and a PhD in Biochemistry from Imperial College London. She also holds a Certificate in International Leadership and Management (ILM). She currently serves as a Board Member at the Dubai Autism Center and the National Advisory Council for the College of Natural and Health Sciences at Zayed University.
