Dr. Amani brings over 20 years of experience in education, spanning teaching, school leadership, educational planning, and policy development. She currently serves as an Education Policy Advisor at the Education, Human, and Community Development Council (EHCD) in the United Arab Emirates, where she plays a central role in shaping policies that advance the quality and future of education. Her research, with a focus on language policy and the Arabic language, has been published in leading peer-reviewed international journals, highlighting her thought leadership in educational policy. Earlier in her career, she held senior leadership roles in Lebanon, guiding a school to international accreditation, before moving into academia. She has lectured in teacher preparation programs at the American University of Beirut and Bahrain Teachers College, where she contributed to curriculum design and teacher training.
