Sarah Abdullah is children’s author and Arabic poetess. Her book, “Kam Tushbihuny” has been selected for the 2024 BRAW Amazing Bookshelf by the Bologna Ragazzi Awards at the Bologna Book Fair. In 2022, she was one of the winners of the First Chapter fellowship by Emirates Festival of Literature and Seddiqi for her debut novel. As a poetess, she led the Arabic workshops and Arabic editing of the “We are The Ocean” anthology for COP28 with ELF and University of Exeter. Her poetry platform, LakiKalima, is where her passion lies. She is on the the judging panel for Emirates Literature Foundation-Emirates NBD “Poetry for all”.
